Updating our profile after several months of inactivity while we discussed what we were really looking for here. The answer is simple: Friends. We've lived in Portland, Texas and Washington over the last 20 years. We have many friends, but distance necessarily makes them mostly virtual. Online chats just aren't the same as getting together with others in the real world. So when my wife complained about how difficult it has been to meet people in our adopted town and develop new friendships at our stage in life, I observed that "I might know a way". She said "Oh yeah? Show me!". So here we are. I am the 'sexually enthusiastic' partner in the relationship. After much discussion, my bride is willing to accept the idea of me playing with another woman or couple, as long as there's mutual respect and real friendship first. She may even decide to join in, if it feels right. She knows that I am 100% committed to her, and that sex is just sex - and she accepts that it might be more fun if there's some variety along the way. Our first priority - mine as well as hers - is to meet other couples who enjoy many of the same things we do outside the bedroom. We enjoy pretty much any form of outdoor recreation. We love live music (Storm Large, Van Morrison, Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan). I can teach anyone how to swing dance, and I don't mind embarrassing myself at Karaoke. We have a hot tub and a massage table and a pretty nice home theater/audio system, for when it's time to relax after the outdoor fun. We own a Hobie Tandem Island, which is a LOT of fun when the wind blows, and we enjoy camping with our small Airstream.
